PRIME DOULA COACHING

Getting started as a doula is challenging and the list of tasks can feel daunting. You do not have to do this work alone! Let us help you strategize your entry into birth work by sharing with you some of the critical knowledge we have gained in our extensive experience in the field of supporting families.

  • 1 - Initial 2 hour intake session to learn about you and your unique presence in professional birth work.

  • 4 - Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly coaching sessions with Liz on your path towards doula work. Let us create a plan for you for your sessions or you lead the way with the things you’re most needing, including but not limited to:

    • Idea generation on finding clients

    • Content creation sessions for your website or online presence

    • Aiding in creation of your forms and processes for storing and keeping track of critical client data

    • Debriefing births you’ve attended

    • Strategizing difficult moments in your prenatal work and planning for challenging births

    • Educating on the birth options landscape in the Twin Cities- various hospitals, providers, and policies that may affect your work.

  • 3 - observed sessions with Liz at an interview, prenatal, and/or postpartum. This allows you to see how an experienced doula conducts their meetings and gives you some idea on how you’d like to structure yours.

  • 1 - observed birth pending approval/permission from Liz’s doula client. Must be on call and in person during the birth when Liz is present.
